New Bedford Welding Supply was founded in 1969 by Robert. W. Cook in a small garage on England Street in the north end of New Bedford. Things have changed a lot from the old garage. Starting with our move to New Bedford's busy waterfront, we built one of the largest showrooms in New England to showcase our large inventory of welding equipment, hand tools, power tools, safety equipment and clothing. The Cook family then opened their 2nd location in Taunton, MA and then their 3rd location in North Smithfield, RI. New Bedford Welding Supply has been owned and operated for three generations by the Cook family and to this day they take care of the needs of their customers.

We proudly serve customers from New Bedford, Taunton, Wareham, Fall River, all of Bristol County and Rhode Island as well as the Greater New England area. With one of the largest showrooms around, we offer the one of the largest selections in welding supply needs.
